As President of the Rho Epsilon Chapter of Chi Omega, I maintain constant communication with the Advisory Board, Executive Board and National Headquarters.  I conduct formal chapter meetings once a week and attend all Panhellenic and Presidents' Meetings.  I represent the chapter in campus events and uphold good working relations with the Campus Greek Advisor.

As the Vice President, I oversee our chapter's scholarship program and encourage our members to achieve their academic goals.  I announce scholarship opportunities to the chapter, provide incentives, and supervise the study hall program.

As Secretary, I'm in charge of keeping our members accountable by taking roll at various events and communicating meeting minutes to the chapter as well as our advisors.  Additionally, I am responsible for completing chapter forms for Chi O National. I am also involved in correspondence and records and keeping the member information current.

As Treasurer of Rho Epsilon, I am responsible for the financial health of the chapter. I collect dues and manage the budget for each office and Cardinal Cabinet position. As Treasurer, I am also the bearer of the checks-- somebody has to pay the bills!

Michelle Briggs

Member Educator

 

As the Member Educator, I work with the entire chapter throughout the year, and more specifically, with our new members in the Fall.  It is my responsibility to educate the chapter and uphold the heritage, traditions, and rituals of Chi Omega.  Through our Membership Education Program, I work with our New Members weekly to help them flourish both as Chi Omegas and in the TCU community.  As part of our academic program, along with the Vice President, I support and mentor the girls as they learn what it takes to succeed in college.  I organize both chapter events to build strong sisterhood bonds as well as events with other organizations to build relationships throughout the TCU community.

Panhellenic Delegate

Panhellenic Delegate

 

As the Panhellenic Delegate, I act as a liaison between Chi Omega and the other ten Panhellenic sororities. I attend weekly Panhellenic meetings with both our President and Associate Panhellenic Delegate where we represent and express the opinions of Chi Omega. At these meetings we make decisions for the Greek Community and work together to make the Greek Community at TCU the best it can be. Another important part of my position is informing our chapter of upcoming philanthropic events, community service opportunities, and other Greek news.

As Recruitment Chair, I prepare our chapter to participate in Fall Formal Recruitment. My duties include planning spring workshops and summer work week, appointing chapter members to various leadership positions pertaining to Recruitment, and acting as liason between the Panhellenic Recruitment Team and our chapter. All of this is done to ensure a successful Recruitment!

As the Administrative Vice President, I am responsible for leading our Cardinal Cabinet and presiding over the monthly meetings. Cardinal Cabinet is our body of non-executive positions in Chi Omega. Some of these positions include Alumnae Relations, Homecoming Chairs, and Mixer Chairs. My job is to oversee and help all of the positions that comprise Cardinal Cabinet and ensure that we are representing the chapter by providing events, PR material, and leadership that the chapter supports.
